Marmot Fest

2020 is a “special” year! So our annual Marmot Fest has changed to a visual/virtual meandering hike along Staunton Ranch Trail. Come enjoy a beautiful hike along Staunton Ranch from the meadows parking lot. Learn fun and fanciful facts about our little furry friends… the marmots! These will be happening from 10am to 3pm.
Social distance and no touch displays will give all visitors a safe and fun day! Watch marmot videos and dancing marmots then…Head on down the trail to enjoy the Dog vs Marmot escapade and a fun scavenger hunt!
We will have a special bag of goodies for the kids, including their very own marmot mask!
Fishing with all equipment supplied will be offered at Davis Ponds if you’d like to give it a try.
Then join us at the amphitheater at 845pm for a night sky /moon program- binoculars supplied!
Don’t forget to adopt a marmot plush toy at the visitor center!
